Nobles County Jail links Minnesota VINE for custody status search and notification. VINE is a victim-notification and custody-notification service, not a full court case search. Registrant and Federal Searches
The Minnesota DOC public registrant search is a separate public registrant tool. It includes fields for city, county, name, and zip. It should not be confused with the Nobles County inmate listing because a registrant search is not proof that a person is in local jail custody.

Nobles County Jail Visitation
Visitors must register before visiting. Registration can be completed at reliancetelephone.com using the friends and family tab. Registered visitors may visit up to two times a day and up to four times a week. Visits must be scheduled at least four hours before the visitation period. Visits are 20 minutes. All visitors must provide photo identification. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and may visit a parent or legal guardian. Siblings under 18 are not allowed to visit. A birth certificate or legal papers verifying guardianship must accompany the child.
Mail and Video Calling
All jail mail must come through the United States Post Office. Only mail through the Post Office will be delivered. All incoming non-privileged mail is copied; copies are given to the inmate and originals are destroyed. Inmates may buy stamps and envelopes through jail canteen. The jail does not accept stamps, envelopes, or mail left by visitors, and photos are not allowed. Religious material is inspected by jail staff. Books and magazines are not allowed.

Video calling uses Reliance Connect. Android users can use Google Play, and Apple users can use the App Store. If the link does not work, search for Reliance Connect. Users sign in with an existing Reliance account or create one, verify the phone number, make a test call, and then let the inmate know video calls can be received. Funding for video calling is handled through Reliance by funding the inmate texting account.
